*Disclaimer: The following is just my opinion, and not intended to offend or hurt anyone. I'm fully aware that Maple Story is just a game, and everyone has a real life stuff to deal with. Please don't take this as me blaming or targeting anyone.*

I'm truely dissapointed in what the SacredAllys has become, when we made this guild over a year ago we had so many great members. Everyone was pqing together, training together, helping each other, and we had an atmosphere that was almost like family. We started out so well, very active and sometimes as many as 15 to 18 ppl on at a time. We all got to know each other, and (at least i thought so) care about each other...

Now looking back over this past year, all the "Allys" that made our guild "Sacred" either don't play anymore, or quit the guild for whatever reason. (Some who didn't even bother to say goodbye or leave a note in the BBS) I personally took "MydiMage" out of S.A. because i was tired of being alone, excluded because of my lvl, hit up for hand outs from new recruits that don't even bother to talk unless they want something for nothing, and can't bother to read and follow the guild rules.

It's very sad that our guild is a year old and we still don't have the ability to gpq,  go on boss runs, or even get our members Zhelmed. I guess S.A. is never going to "grow" beyond being a social group, it's not even that anymore since over half the ppl in it never log on. So what has S.A. become? A guild full of mules and ppls "alt chars"? A list full of ppl with ?? next to thier info? A bunch of greedy little new recruits that no one knows logging in to beg and whine?

I still have my other 2 char in S.A. and i'm not planning on taking them out. It was very hard for me to take Mydimage out of S.A. i felt really sad about it because i care about this guild, and i've been hoping for so long that things would improve. Unfortunately it just keeps getting worse, and don't really see things ever being the way they use to be. I look back at all the fun we use to have, the late nights pqing and training together, the silly conversations that would make me smile and sometimes even bust out laughing, all the noobs we slaughtered with summon bag parties, and all of us just making S.A. the awesome guild that it was.

I guess thats all just memories now, i can't help but feel sad that those days are pretty much gone.

Yo. Some of us have perfectly good reasons for leaving. And I know you're talking about me not leaving a note.

 

Personally, I don't want to be tortured about the fact that I quit the guild. If you guys know me well enough to notice I'm gone, then you don't need a bbs note. That's just going to make everyone talk about it and that's really not what I wanted. I didn't want the whispers or the questioning from people I barely know. I had my own reasons and I'd rather not have to lie because I don't want to share it with the entire guild. And I did say goodbye to the people who were on at the time. The others I cared about were either on my buddy list at the time or have since been added. No reason to say goodbye.

 

As for the fact that the guild is dying...some people still trained together and pqed together. Just because certain people couldn't or didn't want to didn't mean the rest of us didn't. We also attempted gpq, but some people refused to stay for more than one. One gpq a week really isn't enough and doesn't give people a chance to fix their mistakes when they still remember what they did wrong. The guild I've created since I left is less than a week old and we've already gpqed more times than SA because people stay for a few hours. We also have a lot of fun doing it and WANT to do it. We don't get pissy because someone doesn't know what to do - we help them.

 

And really, you guys could've still recruited. Gotten more people and whatnot instead of leaving the guild. Booting inactive members. If the problems you mentioned are the only ones you feel are there, then it's easy to fix SA.

 

So let's not lay all the blame on the people who quit. I don't appreciate the implication that we did something wrong.

 

I remember the guild a year ago, and it was great. It really was. But things change and people change. If you really want the guild to be a success again, and I honestly think it can be, then get rid of the people who make it an unhealthy and unhappy environment and find new people who are capable of bringing something to the table. Personally, I don't want any part in it, but I wish the remaining members the best of luck.

We all still care of what happens to everyone. I just hope we all can work together to get the guild back in fun times again. I do miss those days. For the talking of the gpq, we all try to help each other. I have been wanting to try, just I'm soo nooob when it comes to it. Of me not having the chance, cuz of personal home reasons, I haven't been able to try anything. Like I have said b4, I do miss the fun and excitement.

I already said i didn't post this to target anyone, my dissapointment is in the guild it's self and not any one person. And i'm just sad to see the guild dying. I didn't ask for anyones excuses for leaving, sorry you felt then need to make this into more than it was.

X_x If I could get MS to work on this computer here, I'd be on a whole lot more. But as it stands, only mom's lappy can play the game. It kinda sucks...

x.x; I apologize for not being active for months, and then coming back for maybe two or three weeks and then disappearing again. Not only does this compy not play MS, but my college courses got real heavy with projects during the middle and now at the end.

As soon as I get my new compy, I'll be on a whole lost more. I swears it. >>; Might get on right now actually... *goes to steal mom's lappy*

yes mydi, ur right. ppl in the guild rnt increasing in lvls, and r full of alternates, and u have a very good point of taking mydimage out of S.A. was very hard and depressing for u, but som ppl in the guild ha ve bin trying very hard to lvl and hope to get better for things like gpq, boss-hunting, zhelms, and other fun stuff, but som ppl find it hard to lvl. i, personally, find it very hard and slow for me to lvl, but its more my fault since i sometimes get very lazy and bored of trainig, and which i should really try harder to get at training, no matter how boring it is. anyways, i agree with u on this note and one suggestion for the knights (and ino this sounds bad, mean or cruel for all the low lvls in the guild or to anyone in general), is to recruit a certain lvl, like 50+ or 70+ or something like that. thx for taking time to read my opinion
